Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Roda.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Roda website, mobile application, and related services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1 - About Roda

Roda is a peer-to-peer marketplace for secondhand and vintage fashion. The Service allows users to list, browse, buy, sell, and communicate regarding items offered by other users.

Roda operates solely as a marketplace platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Roda is not the buyer or seller of any item listed on the Service and is not a party to any sales contract concluded between users.

Roda does not take ownership, possession, or legal title of any items at any stage.

References to “Roda,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the operator of the Service under the Roda name.

2 - Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • the information you provide is accurate and up to date
  • you will comply with these Terms and applicable law

3 - Nature of the Platform

Roda is a peer-to-peer platform connecting private users.

Roda does not:

  • take ownership of listed items
  • store, hold, or physically inspect items unless expressly stated otherwise
  • act as agent, broker, insurer, or representative of any buyer or seller
  • guarantee the quality, legality, authenticity, safety, or condition of any item

All transactions are concluded directly between the buyer and the seller.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe a user has:

  • breached these Terms
  • acted fraudulently
  • misused the Service
  • created risk for other users or for Roda

We may take such action without prior notice where necessary.

You may delete your account through the Service where that functionality is available.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Roda may take such actions without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the integrity of the platform.

9 - Payments and Transactions

Payments on the Service are processed through Stripe, an independent third-party payment service provider.

Roda may facilitate secure payment handling, including holding funds until a transaction is completed.

To receive payouts, sellers may be required to complete identity verification through Stripe.

Roda does not control Stripe’s services, verification processes, or payout timelines and is not responsible for delays or failures caused by Stripe.

In certain circumstances where funds cannot be legally or technically released to a seller, Roda may issue a refund to the buyer.

Sellers are responsible for shipping items to buyers.

The seller remains fully responsible for the item until it is successfully delivered to the buyer.

Roda is not responsible for:

  • shipping delays
  • lost or damaged parcels
  • courier service failures

Buyers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

11 - Returns, Refunds, and Disputes
